Reviews and Ratings
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location was beautiful and the larger cabin we upgraded to was definitely the highlight, spacious and comfortable for my family. However, the initial cabin we booked was older and pretty cramped, which was disappointing. Additionally, the amenities like the pool were overcrowded and less than pleasant. Overall, it was a decent experience, but with some issues that could be improved.
The park is in a fantastic location, very close to central Canberra activities while maintaining a quiet atmosphere. The amenities were good, and I appreciated the well-equipped camp kitchen. However, the onsite restaurant experience was quite disappointing due to poor service and food temperature issues. Overall, it’s a bit pricey for what you get, but the central location makes it worthwhile.
My stay was enjoyable overall, as the villa provided a great space for self-catering with excellent BBQ areas. However, I found the restaurant food to be overpriced and lacking in quality. Additionally, while the ensuite site was clean and well-kept, the noise from other guests at night was a bit disruptive. I appreciated the proximity to public transport, making it easy to explore the city.
Our stay at the park hotel was quite enjoyable. We found the cabin we stayed in to be tidy and spacious, perfect for families, although the beds could have been more comfortable. The dining experiences were top-notch, especially the buffet breakfast, and the facilities, including the pool area, were generally good but could use some expansion for the busy summer months.
